Michael Keelan in Conversation at Carrick Hill
An informative and thought-provoking talk by SA’s leading garden expert
Michael Keelan has been recognised many times for his long and outstanding contribution to the horticultural industry and Carrick Hill is fortunate to have his expertise on the Gardens and Grounds Committee.
Most of us know Michael through his public image in media, and foremost through advising, informing and helping the public on the subject of gardening. Having visited over 40 countries, he will share his favourite gardens – particularly in Venice and discuss the many challenges we face today from the effects of climate change and how we can play our part in preserving and protecting our environment. He will delve into the many benefits of gardening and give us an idea of what he envisages our gardens will look like in 50years, plus where the Carrick Hill heritage gardens are headed in the future and how we get there. A wide-ranging discussion on our world of gardening not to be missed!
